Apparently, Paris’s Left bank and London’s Notting Hill is almost just like Sydney’s Point Potts. You will find, shops, galleries coffee houses and bookshops all almost just the same only that the area over here is much smaller.
The Darling Hurst road over here has many tattoo parlous and adult book shops. They even have massage joins and strip joins. This area is popularly known as kings Cross. The El Alamein founts was set up here in nineteen sixty one. You will then come on to the Macleay Street; this is where the heart of Potts Point is.
The Elizabeth bay road is a small street that goes to the Kings Cross police station. The Cross bay gallery is here, which is famous for being run by Artists themselves. The gallery here display many works by Asian and aboriginal artists. You could reach the gallery at 612 9361 5758.
When you take a left at Orwell, you will see the metro theater which a class Art Deco structure where “Hair” had its first Australian performance which happened about nineteen seventy. The famous film producer and director, George Miller, uses this as his business office. Miller has made films like babe- Pig in the city, Mad Max and Happy feet.
The park here is generally filled with backpackers. As soon as you exit fro here you will see the famous Regents court. There is an Indian home diner and the Seven day food which has a famous bookshop that is located just in between. This bookshop has been around from the nineteen fifties. And, the entire collection of shelves that have been built into this shop since almost half a century now.
The yellow house which is at the heart of Potts point is known for being the local Van Gogh’s studio. This place is where the hippies and the bohemians used to hang out during the fifties, sixties, and seventies.
