Darling Harbour
New South Wales | Write a review | July 8, 2011Set right at the center of Sydney at the waterside is the Darling Harbour, travelers mecca and a major Sydney landmark. The landmark is located at an easily accessible distance from the central business district of the city, and it is possible to walk it up. The city skyline can be seen up front and close from the Harbourside Shopping Center.
Parking is available right outside the Darling Harbour. It is also possible to park in the underground parking space at the harbor. The mono rail will provide you with a superb view of the site. This will also help you if you are trying to decide on where to stop. Arriving here by water taxi or ferry is also common. It is possible to dock at the jetties and piers and start your tour from here.

The sea itself is an attraction here. The city is simply enamored by the sea. However, there is more to come. The sheer number of options for entertainment and shopping available at the site is another experience worth looking at. The IMAX Theater at Darling Harbour is the largest cinema screen in the country. It is a massive eight storeys high.

To the north of the IMAX Theater is the Sydney Aquarium and the Sydney Wildlife World. The Chinese Garden is also close by.
There are a huge number of attractions, entertainment and shopping destinations concentrated at Darling Harbour. This is what makes the location such a superb place to be when you want to see Sydney’s culture.
