Tutuila, the main and largest island among the seven islands of the American Samoa, is located at some 70 km east of Upolu. Blessed with beautiful landscapes, the island is mountainious and lush with verdant vegetation. Despite this fact, not many visitors come here due to lack of awareness. For those who come here, it acts as the main base to explore the American Samoa. Considered as the Pago Pago’s unbelievable harbor, its natural beauty lies in its captivating cliffs and green slopes that is scattered throughout its territory. For the tourists, the twisting coastline holds really beautiful coves and bays for snorkeling, swimming, and snoozing in calm environs. For more fun on the list, hike to a summit trail, trek on the rocky islet of Aunu’u, soak in the warm sands, or roam in a colorful local bus across the island.
