    Midway Atoll – connecting Hawaii with Tokyo
    Midway Atoll is an atoll that is been located within the North Pacific Ocean (in close proximity to the northwestern ending of the Hawaiian archipelago), almost around one-third of the total way connecting Honolulu with Tokyo. The total land area covered by Midway Atoll is around 2.4 sq miles (almost 6.2 sq kms), in addition this atoll is an unorganized, as well as unincorporated province of the United States of America. It is below 140 n miles (almost 259 km and 161 miles) in the eastern region of the International Date Line, almost around 2,800 n miles (around 5,200 km and 3,200 miles) in the western region of San Francisco, as well as 2,200 n miles (almost 4,100 km and 2,500 miles) in the eastern region of Tokyo.
