Kingdom of Tonga is an archipelagic nation comprising about 169 islands in the South Pacific Ocean. The kingdom stretches for 800 kilometres from north to south and is spread over an area of 748 square kilometres. Tonga is located south of the Samoa Islands and is close to New Zealand to Hawai. It is the only group of Pacific Islands that was never colonized. Capital of Tonga is Nuku’alofa.
